Is there still going to be a Wedding Singer Tour?

Does anyone know why this was anounced last year, but yet I can't find any information regarding the tour that was supposed to start in September of 2007?

re: Is there still going to be a Wedding Singer Tour?

Someone said in anothern thread said that the production team sold the show off to NETworks for a Non-Equity tour.

I don't understand what type of information you're looking for. It's supposed to launch in the fall, so casting and a full city by city schedule won't be announced until well into the summer.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

It's launching in September. It's not official yet whether it'll be equity or not, but when the show closed on Broadway, they put a lot of the set into storage (most likely for the tour).

I think alot more people will see this tour because the movie has a very devoted following of people and alot of people who would just be interested to see it because they enjoy the movie. I sincerly hope it will tour for at least 2 years. That may just be my crazy dream!!

Raleigh announced that it would be part of its 2007-08 season -- no specific dates given.

I hope it comes to Buffalo ASAP in any form they can get it together! I've been driving everyone crazy with the music since I saw it last year.

I hate feeling like it's a guilty indulgence, but I LOVE THIS SHOW and it would be great for more upstate folks to get to enjoy it!

Broadway Across America does not show all the stops a tour will make. Only cities that are a part of their series.

I also heard that it's going to Baltimore sometime. I don't know how reliable/accurate this info is, but that's what I've heard.
