Now that the notion that 9 to 5 was single-handedly created and produced by Dolly has seeped its way out of the media to become this season's fastest growing trendy opinion, if the show flops financially, will she also be sacrificed by the media and musical theatre "fans" as the sole scapegoat and single cause of the show's failure?

I feel like, even if the show flops and is a huge failure, I don't think anyone could be mad at Dolly.

I think people would have sympathy for her more than anything.

Yet somehow, all this attention paid to Dolly's reaction to the Best Musical snub and Riedel's belief that she is the only selling point for the show is seeping into the brains of many. Suddenly, there are allegations of mass vitriol hurled at Dolly from every direction. This is definitely one of the most bizarre happenings to occur on BWW. I'm just waiting for Merman's Tony loss for Gypsy to somehow be related to Dolly as well. We must demand a response from her! Dolly is the new LuPone and she doesn't even have to perform in a Broadway show.

That's absolutely correct, Weez! And can I just say, we don't hear the word "beshrew" nearly enough in the States. I think it needs to be revived.

FYI - Caroline, or Change did not win Best Musical or Best Score and Tonya Pinkins lost because of Dolly. That is the real reason 9 to 5 wasn't nominated for Best Musical. It's no wonder the entire world hates her so much. I've heard they put her face on a deck of trading cards just like they did with Al Qaeda.

Dolly is a cruel and calculating witch. And I mean that literally. She had customized voodoo dolls made of the entire tony nominating committee to exact her revenge.

She is evil and there is no place for broadway for such a spawn of Satan.
