"It's All Over" in Dreamgirls film?

Posted: 9/14/06 at 6:19pmI know many on the board are in the know, so I had to ask. Is "It's All Over" included in the film? I know the film version of "Rent" dumped all of the "sung-through" sequences and turned them into dialogue. I love this musical sequence from the stage show and hope it makes it into the film version.

Thanks! Even a cut version is better than turning this great sequence into dialogue.

Deena going-off on Effie while Michelle looks on during "It's All Over" in the film-version of DREAMGIRLS.
No frets -- the entire number/scene is in the film. The scene now takes place while Deena, Lorrell and Michelle are rehearsing on a Las Vegas stage before they are about to perform a New Year's Eve performance. The sequence is intact to the stage-version only Jimmy isn't in the scene, so they gave Deena the line of "...she had nothing to do with the change, it was you..." (responding to Effie's "...I always knew you 2 were together!" line). Nothing has been altered.
And yes...it's entirely sung-thru.

Jimmy's parts in the song/number haven't been cut -- they are still there, just appropriately sung by other characters.
Nothing has been cut from the song.
