She received very good reviews for Maria in West Side Story, I'm actually sorry I passed up the chance to see her in the role. I hope the Brooklyn tour stops close enough for me to catch her in that.

I didn't know what Penny this was talking about, so the first thing that came to mind was Penny in "The Rescuers" I was like "Huh??" anyway, I get it now. w and it could be worse, she could be tracy, at least this isn't the main part.

you know what is funny to me?

When Diana did WSS and found out she actually did good, people WANTED her to give Broadway a try then, and then it's a total 180 again. Diana will just have to 'prove' herself again, but that'll be a great thing for her and hopefully the audience.

by the way, Just how you have certain Diana fans who signed up here just to talk about how good Diana is, you also have certain 'haters' from during 'Idol' that signed up just for that. Just an FYI lol.

i heard she is not a nice person. i live in GA and my friend said she went to his high school. He said nobody really liked because she was snotty and rude. When they do that special segment on American Idol when the finalists go back to their homw town, he told me the camera people said they had to act happy to see her etc., and everyone who didn't like her didn't want to act excited for her so they didn't go on camera. Hopefully she has changed since then.

Perhaps, but keep in mind that that was HIGH SCHOOL, when any girl on any given day and time is gossiped about and called "snotty and rude". Take it with a grain of salt.

Take it with a grain of salt as the poster above suggested. I've never heard of anyone who met Diana who described her as rude or snotty. I'd be willing to bet that there are some people she went to school with who were jealous or enjoyed gossiping about her negatively. If there was much truth to the "evil side" of Diana, I think it would be getting a lot more play and it would have shown up in other areas of her life.
Diana hasn't done or said anything in her professional life to indicate this is true, judge her on her actions not on stories that may be spread by people with questionable motives. It's way to easy to start negative stories and smear someone and they usually start with "My friend who knows the second cousin of so and so said..."
