It's a boy! Marissa Jaret Winokur Is a Mom

Dancing with the Stars alum Marissa Jaret Winokur is a mother.
The Tony winner and her writer husband, Judah Miller, welcomed a baby boy, Zev Isaac Miller, via surrogate on Tuesday.

Zev weighed 8 lbs., 7 oz. and measured 21 inches long.

I think it's great that she is able to still have her own children even after the hysterectomy (not that I'm against adoption either).
But for some people, it's important to them to have their own or at least the option.

Frankly, I'm all for someone else having a kid FOR me. lol
My cousin had a 10+ lb baby on Tuesday (same day as Marissa). Umm OW

But congrats to Marissa and Judah!

I agree! It's great that after going through cancer and a hysterectomy, she can still have kids!

I actually like the name Zev. It's different without being downright bizarre like many other celebrity baby names.

Congratulations to her and her husband! Zev is actually a very common Hebrew name meaning "wolf". I think it's lovely.
