I'm a professional. Whenever something goes wrong on stage, I know how to handle it so no one ever remembers. I flash my %#$&.
"Jayne just sat there while Gina flailed around the stage like an idiot."
Was there tonight. BIG hit written all over this, and the audience was loving it. Honestly, if it's this good at the first preview, it'll be KILLER by opening night.
I enjoyed it much more than Billy or Next to Normal or Shrek. By far my favorite show this season so far. It may not be as "deep" as other shows, but it's well put together, chock full of amazing talent, and I can't imagine it not running away with "Best Score" and "Best Musical" this year.
