According to broadway.com, Tim Howar will continue, but who knows.

I thought Tim was great.
I loved Will Chase a lot too. I wouldn't be sad if he came back...but, that wont happen.

Tim is fantastic, but it says on his website he's done on the 29th. Who knows? Maybe he'll continue. I won't be complaining. I need to see him play off a different Mark.
I think Caplan and Will Chase worked well together, but I don't know what's going to happen with the both of them in High Fidelity.

Well, I've said multiple times on Sunset and 42nd that the only way that I'd go back to Rent is if Christopher J. Hanke were cast as Mark.
Guess I'll be there in November.

Well, Will Chase cant come back immediately because I think that he is doing High Fidelity. I haven't seen Tim Howar as Roger...I last saw is on a school GSA trip when WIll Chase was Roger. I had no need to go back, until this news was confirmed. Hopefully Christopher will breathe some much-needed life into the cast.

Eh, I doubt he'll be back. They've been going through Rogers like tissues over there.. but they kept Matt Caplan (#$#%#U* @*$*!#!!!!!)...
No use ranting and raving now. Whose up for a 'WHOOHOO HE'S FINALLY GONE!' party?

Darn it. I was hoping I had completed by trips to the Nederlander long ago.
But I guess now I have to go back. My feelings are so mixed though...
It is refreshing to see the producers FINALLY casting someone fresh for a lead in the Broadway production. And, I'm sure Christopher's Mark will be wonderful. That said, I wish he could get a lead in another NEW show that might stick around longer than his last!

Will and Matt were really good together. Cary and Matt were great too...5 years ago.
But, I'd love to see Christopher. Maybe in January.

Will really whipped Matt into shape. They were good together!

Isn't Matt doing the In My Life tour?
PEACE.

Nope. As far as I know, he's in High Fidelity. Is there even a In My Life tour?
What got me EVERY TIME with Matt was, well his Tango Maureen, but two, he drinks from the water bottle in Contact.
Every. Single. Time.
I'm seeing them on the 12th of next month, and I would assume that Tim'll be in the show.

GodIHopeIGetIt, it was a joke. And I don't understand what you mean about the drinking.

Few, I wasn't so sure. You really can't tell whose sane anymore online.
You know how there's the water bottle on the table? While they're under the sheet (and it's quite obvious if your in lotto seats) he starts to drift off and then grabs it. For some reason, it's dreadfully annoying to me.

All the Matt hate. Oh well. He'll be missed in the role and I'm sure that Christopher will do a wonderful job as Mark.

Matt was my very first Mark -- many, many years ago when I first saw RENT. I'm thrilled to see Christopher is getting new work. He is a wonderful talent and I look forward to seeing a young, fresh new Mark! Good luck, Christopher!

Even though I have a picture with Matt Caplan, I have no real memories of his Mark. The only thing that stood out for me was how A.W.F.U.L. Sebastian Arcelus was as Roger.

He looks more like Mark's dad in that pic than Mark himself. Time to be movin' on, fella.

And that was in 2003! Nuff said, I think.

Matt Caplan is the lest photogenic person I have ever seen in my entire life. It's one of the most amusing things about him, really.

That's not a bad pic of him - minus the deer in headlights pose.

I have beat you ALL in the bad pictures of Matt Caplan competition (not like we're having one, but I like winning

Wow, you look a lot like Andy Senor!
Very excited about Christopher. I guess I'll be the first to say that I'll miss Matt though. It's time, no doubt, but he really is great in the role. Matt was one of my first favorites when I saw the Benny tour about six years ago, so it's kind of strange to know he'll actually be gone now!
