Sorry, I have been out of the Bway loop for a bit because of school. Are there any performances that Jennifer Hudson doesn't do throughout the week? I know that is a common theme amongst celebs.

I know only doing a certain number of performances a week used to be a thing, I feel like it hasn't been in a long time. Can anyone think any recent instances where a celebrity did an abbreviated schedule, aside from Lupita for that brief period this winter?

Lin-Manuel Miranda does 7 performances a week in Hamilton, if that counts, but otherwise I can't think of any. As for OP's question, Jennifer does do 8 shows a week, and actually hasn't missed any for the entirety of the run.

Lin-Manuel, as mentioned above. Plus there was Ricky Martin, who scaled back to performances a week later in the run of Evita. Same thing with Audra in Porgy and Bess.
