J-Lo as Evita in London?

I read that someone with a Latin flare would be nice for the London production, so why not Jennifer Lopez?

Just kidding. It sorta makes me throw up a little in my mouth just thinking about it.

How about Jennifer Love Hewitt? Isn't she Spanish or Jewish or something?

re: J-Lo as Evita in London?

If you knew how much miss J-LO makes per film and how much her time is worth you would know why she won't be appearing on ANY stage in any musicals any time soon. She majored in arithmetic!!

Donald Trump will play Peron.
After his amazing Emmy performance, how could he not?

re: J-Lo as Evita in London?

You know what? I think I might be crazy here, but I think we should have actual singers and actors who have proven themselves on stage before be given major roles in major shows... Oh who am I kidding!? That's such a stupid thought!
Am I cut out to spend my time this way?

re: J-Lo as Evita in London?

arithmetic has nothing to do with it. She's a talent free waste of space who owes her singing career to pro tools.

re: J-Lo as Evita in London?

But she has more of a singing career than I'll ever have so to discount simply based on a lack of talent wouldn't be giving her what she has earned. I say if she can sell a talent she doesn't have, she shouldn't be reprimanded, she should be applauded for being such a good saleswoman.

Oh Honey, Don't go there about Miss J-Lo having no talent, I'll slice you in half like a muffin!! LOL!! Besides, She doesn't need anyones approval ratings, She has the goods, The men and the Cash! Go listen to your "Wicked" CD again now and come back in a few more years.

Don't patronise me just because you have poor taste in performers.

thete was a time I thought she was a talent. Like when Selena came out and she was so good in it. Then she just grew into this big manufactured property.

LOL!!! Charo would probably be better than a Neyorikan(j.Lo) playing an Argentinean? What about Rosie Perez or Salma Hayek? honestly....Eden Espinosa would be a good Evita...where is Eden's heritage from?

No way could JLO pull it off. Maybe Eden, if she doesn't yell.

re: J-Lo as Evita in London?

lol this is the best message board topic EVER!!!!

JLo's ass is way to big to play a political figure. And if anyone saw that performance with her and Marc Anthony, you would know that her live performance isn't...well...good.

She is a great entertainer, but if she can be Evita, why not Bjork, Rosie O'donnell or even Rosanne Barr?

If the West End is going to get a taste of American Musical theater, then maybe it should be someone originally from AMERICAN MUSICAL THEATER.

Come on, just because she's puerto rican she can be Evita?
I'm italian, does that mean I'm Super Mario?

JLo stick to dancing and well edited pop beats. You're hot, no one's denying that, but please...spare us!
