Has anyone tried this yet? Is it busy? Is it the sort of thing folks are lining up for, or can you show up at the box office after 10 AM and get a ticket?

I showed up at 5pm for the first preview and got a seat in Row C. I think since it's in previews and word isn't quite "out there yet, you should be fine going at 10am or even later. It's a big theater.

Answered my own question this morning.

After rushing the evening performance of Sister Act, I walked around the corner (and got there by 10:07) to the Neil Simon. There were 2 lines- one for evening and one for matinee. The matinee line was considerably shorter. Ended up getting A106 in the orchestra. He appeared to have a nice sized stack of tickets left, too.

Went last night at 6:30. Easily got 3 seats up in the mezz. the last 4/5 rows were empty. they seem to be giving rush people tickets on the isle and leaving the rest of the row empty.

Also went yesterday, but got there around 9. Front row center!! It was pretty awesome and definitely worth getting up for!

I was there this morning and was the 12th person in line and they ran out of tickets right when I got to the window. The box office said to try again after 6 -- do they have a separate stash of tickets that they release as rush if they don't sell them full price? Wondering if it's worth it to go back...

Has anybody done this for a Wednesday (either show?) Is it generally easy to snag a rush ticket by noon or later?
