Has anyone seen her in Phantom? I am dying to, but I saw it not too long ago (with Rebecca Pitcher), So I will just have to satisfy myself with peoples' reviews.
Although not a fan of this long runner musical, I had to see the amazing and talented Jennifer Hope Wills(Wonderful Town, The Woman in White, The Beauty and the Beast), Jennifer reminded me of Sarah Brightman as Christine and the show was very enjoyable. Wills hits all the notes the charachter requires to, but she also is an excellent actress, unlike many other Christines. Now I like "Phantom".
Yay muscle! She is sooo awesome on that wonderful town clip you sent me!
Cool! Hey muscle, can you send me the link to the clip?
haha, it was a song from Wonderful Town, not a clip. You can buy the CD anywhere. There is also a clip of Wonderful Town that features JHW on http://www.broadway.com/gen/Buzz_Video.aspx?ci=501490
That's fine, thanks muscle
She reminds you of Sarah?! Now I have to see her (yes I love Sarah in the OLC recording). How so, do their voices sound alike, or did her style just remind you of Sarah's? (though I am glad to hear JHW can act well)
She has a great voice, but above her amazing voice and technique, she is a great ACTRESS and although she says she is not a professional dancer, she can really dance!
Kaboodles, click on the link to read a review. (I didn't write it; I just found it!)

I can't wait to see her interpretation this summer! From what I hear...JHW is fantastic as Christine. :)

Has anyone stuck around to meet her? (not just from after Phantom, but from when she was in Woman in White, Beauty and the Beast etc.)

I saw her in Phantom a couple of weeks ago. She was fantastic.
I was actually surprised how good of shape the entire production is.

she is even better than Sarah....
I got to talk to Jennifer after Wonderful Town(5 times) and then after The Woman in White and Phantom.
So I saw Phantom this afternoon (first time my mom and sister saw it), and I just had to say I've seen quite a few Christines on stage (the only one I've actually really liked was Julie Hanson), but without a doubt, Jennifer Hope Willis was the best Christine I've ever seen. She had a gorgeous voice, reached great high notes, did not go overboard on the vibrato...I bought her youth, and just bought everything she brought to the part. My mom and sister thought she was great as well. Bravo to her!
