I remember this being announced over 3 years ago, but haven't heard anything since. I'm glad to see it's still in the works.

Pmensky, right? I feel like when an "indie" (using the term loosely) animation company does CGI, something feels...off. Disney, Dreamworks, Pixar, Blue Sky, etc. can pull it off. (Is there a major company backing this project?) Either way, I would much rather see it animated traditionally.

I'm ambivalent towards this project. What I really wish is that ALW would go back to the Cats animated film that got started in the 90s. The concept art is stunning, and the script is really good.

I'm kind of excited for this. If I were to pick a musical of ALW's that would fit best as an animated feature...it would be Joseph or Cats. Hopefully it actually happens (instead of being stuck in development hell...) "

There's not a script online anywhere, I've looked at a couple of drafts in Stoppard's archive at the Harry Ransom Center. It's a fun, engaging script, and the plot takes everything enjoyable from the musical and improves upon everything else.
