I miss "Being a Geek". It actually helped explain some of Evan's motivation for being cool.
It won't be a masterpiece, but it'll be entertaining.
I think every kid in the US that have ever dreamed of being on Broadway auditioned for this. I got to final cuts to understudy Lucy, but a girl from my theatre company got it instead. Jason Robert Brown picked these kids, they're obviously talented. I actually really like the show-I saw it at the Goodspeed because I had a couple of friends in it-one of which got cut. I love the music, I love the show, I love the kids. Then again, I may be biased since I know quite a few of the kids, and had a really good experience for all the three different developmental stages of the show that I auditioned for. I'm there opening night.

More like Junior High School Musical...
For my daughter, I've suffered through HSMs and Hannah, and yes, we're going to PNC for the Jonas Bros. So I know the Disney music. This is not Disney. They don't do bar mitzvahs on Disney.
I'm not sure if it's Broadway either, but seeing real kids in both the band and the cast sounds like a great night of theater. Sure beats seeing 34-year-olds play Rizzo.
We'll definitely see a preview once it's frozen. And we're very eager to see how the kids do this Broadway season starring in not only 13, but also Billy Elliot and Shrek. The youth invasion. Imagine if half the Tony acting nods go to teens this season!
