Jackie Burns illness?

Anyone know why Jackie has been out so much lately? Is she ill? She briefly returned last week but has been out since Saturday afternoon.

I heard she has the flu. Hopefully she's back and performing again soon, but I know the show is in more than capable hands with Donna as Elphaba!

with Jackie Burns being out a lot latety due to the flu, does anyone know if the Elphaba u/s, Vicki Noon, has gone on??

Yes she has. IMO this is the best cast of Elphabas we've ever had in New York, with all 3 having been leads. Plus Willemijn will be arriving soon.

Jackie has been sick for awhile now, she was supposed to come back last week, but was told she could not, Donna Vivino has laryngitis and has not even been in the building, hence why Vicki Noon has been getting so much stage time.

Donna was on this past Sunday matinee, first time seeing her, she was fantastic. Alli Mauzey on the other hand... ugh.

I saw Jackie as Elphaba for the matinee this past Saturday (1/26/13) and talked to her for a while after. She said she has been out a lot due to the fact that she has viral laryngitis. Jackie was out from 1/15/13 - 1/23/13. Donna Vivino did the shows from 1/15/13 - matinee on 1/20/13. Vicki Noon only did the evening show on 1/20/13 and 1/22/13. Jackie came back on 1/23/13 - 1/26/13 (matinee only). Donna did the evening show on Saturday, the shows on Sunday and went on last night. No word who is on tonight yet. Jackie said she really was not feeling well at all, but she sounded great and I never would have guessed that she is still ill.

Knew something was up - saw it Sunday and Elphaba and Fiyero "fake" kissed every time (very obvious from the front row) Donna was fantastic, and I figured they were fighting the spread of wintery sickness.
