I've seen Jackie Hoffman twice, the first time was when Harvey and Marissa were still with the show. She came in from the side of the front row and started pushing through to the centre aisle "Quit hogging the front row! You're only seeing the show - I'M IN IT!! LET ME THROUGH!!"

The second time was a couple of days before the Aug 30 convention in NYC, she looked at a man in second row and said "Oh, I found a gay man here! Are you a gay republican? Let me guess, it's one more show and then you're getting out of town?!"

And in the same show when everyone else except Tracy left the stage after "Big Doll House" she snapped to the ladies "And leave the tap shoes by the door!!!"

She always says the tap shoes line--I think it's in the script.

We saw a Wednesday matinee in June- I was worried it might have the old soft-sell, but it was dynamite.
Anyway, was Jackie moved along the half-empty front row, she exclaimed, "This is the hippest show in town and the front row's empty! I expect everyone's down the road watching that all-Christian production of 'Fiddler on the Roof'!" Huge applause followed!
We saw 'Movin Out' that evening. All in all, a brilliant day!

Jackie should come with a warning label.

The best one I've heard her say (And I've seen the show 12 times, thank you.) was on Marissa's last day. I don't remember exactly, but she had done her little scream that she does, then just climbed up the stage. I was like, "She isn't going to say anything?!" Well, she turned to the audience, and goes... "Confused? Let's review! The story starts off with a chubby little girl who wants to be on TV..." Then she quickly summed up the rest of the show, if I tried to repeat it, I'd butcher her brilliance, so I'm not going ot try.

Someoen posted this already, but forgot part of it... On Harvey's last day, she got on stage and goes. "Guess who's in that can! It's Nathan Lane and Matthew Brodrick!" (No, I can't spell.) SO then she turns do do her real line, but stops, turns back to the audience and goes "AND P DIDDY!" Lol. It was realy funny. The delivery and all. Harvey had some amusing ad-libs at his last show too, but I'll save those for another day.

I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.
