re: January #50

You've been here for all of four months, Theaterfan4, if that's your only screen name. If you think motor tics and a stutter are his only issues, you're mistaken. And even if that were true, I revert to my original question. Why the discourtesy? He may be mildly annoying (though not on purpose) on occasion, but he isn't rude.

We are in total agreement regarding the "diagnosis" issue, which was why I asked the question in the first place. Why did dramamama mention it if it is irrelevant? Thanks for the reinforcement on that one.

And a belated welcome to carts 2010.

Ghostlight, I've lurked here long enough to know that tking is an annoying pest always whining about get closing tickets & discounts. The stutter & motor ticks are all he has. That is what it said in an article he posted about himself.

He did not post the article, TheaterFan. He does ask a lot of questions, which is the primary reason this board exists, to discuss and ask questions about theater. The article that someone else posted to mock him does not include all of his disabilities.

In any case, it's clear I am unable to convince you and others to be more compassionate about those less fortunate than yourself. Pity you can't see your way through to simply skip his posts if they bother you so much. Here's hoping you yourself never have to suffer through some injury or stroke that might make you less palatable to your fellow posters - and if it does, here's hoping they're kinder to you than you've been to him.

I'm pretty much done with those of you defending your reasoning for being unkind. Happy New Year.

I think it's odd that you are discussing tking as if he can't see the thread.

Very strange.

If you're discussing me, JG2, I have communicated with him.

I think it's even MORE odd that you've "communicated" with him. Is life that slow for you?

For the love of god will you all shut the hell up.
Why do some people on here feel like they own the boards, telling people what they can post and what they can't?
Its especially funny when the person doing it is someone who only comes on here to live up to his his screen name (that in itself is plain sad)

A thread was made, if you don't like it then don't post in it, nobody is forcing you to.

The amount of pointless crap that was put in this thread is amazing, go and find a life and devote that time to something more important, like watching paint dry.
