There's a VERY lovely ballad called SHE'S GOT A WAY which can be heard on a studio album called BELIEVE, devoted to Sherman Brothers songs. It's available courtesy of the New York Public Library.

I was lucky to see the show on it's "pre-Broadway" tour in Dallas.

I can't wait to hear the score again. I seem to remember I enjoyed the older couple's songs more.

I do remember that the songs sounded very "Sherman-esqe"

I love the Sherman Brothers sooo much - I will definitely have to look into getting this CD.

Thanks for the heads up!

I hope this helps to usher the show to a Broadway theatre. I have always felt that the Sherman Brothers have been under-represented on Broadway.

I wonder what ever happened to the recording they made of the pre-Broadway cast with Tommy Tune? They recorded it while on the road and it was set to be released soon after the show got to Broadway, but was cancelled when it never made it. I wish they would release that! I need me some new Marcia Lewis listening!

Speaking of the Sherman Brothers, I have a demo of Victory Canteen which became Over Here

Over Here was a lot of fun. The band was great & the Overture was awesome. It is a great CD. By the way, whatever happened to Janie Sell ? She was great in it & than seemed to vanish off the face of the earth

I saw the tour. It was a MESS! The score might be good -who knows- I was too busy trying to shut down all my senses just to survive sitting through that garbage.
