I love Jekyll and Hyde. Although the show has flaws, it is full of wonderful songs. I saw it twice on Broadway and have all versions of the CDs. In fact, I love all of Frank Wildhorn's music - and Linda Eder is fantastic - I have all of her solo CDs - her voice is like liquid gold.
fyffe~ the jekyll-go-round started with Jack Wagner as the show was financial in the rough.BTW, Jack Wagner brought in the highest grossed since Cucciolo's hay day with J&H, but his stardom only kept him there for about 6 mos. DH was brought in as a last ditch effort to resurrect the show. He certaintly didn't save it nor did he kill it, as some thought. It's lifespan on Bd'w was over, that's all.
Several tours and regional, community version are still going strong. It seems to have a strange popularity still.

I LOVE JEKYLL & HYDE! Mainly because of Linda Eder...but unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to ever see her in it ![]()
I saw it with Chuck Wagner who was "ok" on the Confrontation, but the man is such a football size guy I thought he was going to pass out! A whole lot of spit covered the stage in that part. And he did this weird humping thing during Dangerous Game. Odd. I also saw Jack Wagner who did a bit better...definitely the best acting job, but not the strongest of voices. David Hasselhof was a joke.
Robert Cuccioli is the best. He is Jekyll & Hyde for me. I know someone who got to see him twice and has described in detail his performance. Whoo! Sexy and dangerous...I wish I had seen him!
