I wish desperatly that there were some pictures, but Jenna was most definitly the most classically beautiful Elphaba. She was just so beautiful, especially in green.

I'm hoping that Jenna will get to play the role full time eventually, possibly on Broadway. She was just that good.

ACTUALLY...what I want is for Steph to take over on Broadway and for Jenna to finish off the tour as Elphaba...that way she can come back to Toronto, and I can see her again!

Today is Monday. The show is dark on Mondays. So she definitely didn't go on.

Akiva/Link--it's good to know we're not alone, huh?

When I met her less than two weeks ago I was the only out there that was excited to see her (beside my friend that was with me) because we KNEW who she was and you could tell she was soo excited to have fans! I loved her. And then after she went to sign more autographs and I took a pic with Derrick before she left she got my attention and said "Glad you enjoyed the show, have a nice night!"--and i was like OH my god...could you BE any sweeter!? so if I didn't love her then that sealed the deal. She is AWESOME!!!

So needless to say I hope Stephanie *who I am ALSO a huge fan of!* takes off tomorrow too!

Good news. I just heard from Jenna, and she tells me there is a chance that she might go on tomorrow if Steph isn't feeling up to it. No promises or anything, but she said it was mentioned.

Hah...she is SO sweet. Tell her Akiva says hi if you talk to her.

I actually got to see her both in her Nessa role, and as Elphie. She was amazing in both, but Stephanie Block outshines her vocally and through characterization.

Jenna was good, but her vibrato was a little wonky. Still, it's Libby Chessler! It's Libby Chessler singing! And damn, is she good.

If you say Stephanie was better than Jenna, I have to see Stephanie. Jenna was absolutely amazing, I couldn't believe she was the same actress that played Libby Chessler! And she was soooo nice at the stage door afterwards.

I wanna go back...

Jenna is gorgeous green! I still think (though I LOVE JENNA) that Stephanie was better, however Jenna did VERY good things with the role and her voice was amazing. With more work (she's less than 10 shows I believe) she will be one of the best I think. Way better than I imagine Shoshana is acting (imagine..i don't know! don't kill me) and way better than Saycon overall.

Get Jenna on Broadway..in an original role..then give her a Tony!

I have not seen Jenna. I have seen Stephanie, Kendra and Katie. Hope to see Jenna before a new cast arrives.

What a great time to be in Chicago. We have a great cast and we look forward to the next cast!!!!!
