How long is JHW contracted for? Also, what days does she go on?

I believe that right now (despite what Playbill.com says--they've been very bad lately about updating their "Who's Who" section) she is in the national tour as the full-time Christine. She was "promoted" after being the alternate on Broadway for only a month or so.

Well, according to the POTO website, she's still on the tour, but if she is back, if she's still the alternate I think she would be on Thursday evenings and Saturday matinees.

I can verify that she's back from the tour; I saw Phantom last Saturday matinee and she was playing Christine. The cast lists on both the Phantom website and Playbill are usually pathetically out of date. The one on Playbill lists people that haven't been there for years. I was told that JHW has been back in the Broadway show for over a month now.

Jennifer Hope Wills keeps a calendar on her official website that states what performances she will be appearing in. She usually performs Monday evenings and Thursday evenings, but any changes in this schedule will be documented on her calendar.

How was she as Christine?

I really enjoyed her performance. She's probably my favorite B'way Christine now, in fact. She's a beautiful singer, she has the acting talent to bring the character to the next level, and she has a nice rapport with her Raoul (Michael Shawn Lewis). I really enjoyed watching their scenes, and I usually don't get into "All I Ask of You" that much. I'd definitely recommend trying to see her when she's performing!

I am so thrilled for Ms. Wills. I have been following her career since "Grease" and just think she is a fantastic performer...so real and honest. I can't wait for the day when she finally gets to originate a role. I think that "Phantom" principals are contracted for six months at a time but that would make her contract up right about now.

I spoke to Jennifer at the Flea Market, she is scheduled for Monday and Thursday evenings.
