I have the chance to see the Jersey Boys Tour.

Is it any good, I saw their performance on the Tonys and it looked alright.

Will I leave the theater happy, or will it just be a concert of Four Seasons Songs?

I feel like I should it, but I don't want to waste my money.

It's a biographical musical story of how Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons came to be. It isn't really a concert per se, but some parts of the show are them performing in concerts throughout the years. I saw it a year ago and enjoyed it.

The former. Not to say the latter formula hasn't been working for years either.

You'll definitely leave happy. The show, like others have said, is a biographical story of how The Four Seasons came to be (with a bit of embellishment). They use the songs to advance the plot and also to recreate certain milestone TV and concert moments the Four Seasons had.

The best part is, you don't have to be a fan of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons to enjoy the show. I'd never heard any of their songs besides a few of their huge hits (and even then, I just recognized the songs... I didn't know who was performing them), and now I'm a huge fan. My dad hated them with a passion but at the end of act one went "WOW this is very well done!" By the end of the evening he was completely into it.

It's a great show with the right amount of humor and drama, all very cleverly told. Go for it and let us know what you think. :)
