Ive seen the show twice now in San Francisco and i can not for the life of me remember a 'limp' or 'dull' moment in this show. Yes, i was expecting a lot less than i saw- its a truly fast paced show with some very moving moments, stunning cast, terrific choreography and a brilliant orchestra/band! Its gonna be huge in London, just sit back and wait and see.

A young actress with Noel coward after a dreadful opening night performance said to him 'Well, i knew my lines backwards this morning!'' Noels fast reply was ''Yes dear, and thats exactly how you said them tonight'!'

it is a great show - it's just I'd have liked them to look more Italian-American. I was spoilt by seeing the original cast just after the opening in NY.Nothing is going to match them

I agree. Personally I don't think anyone could live up to the original Broadway line up. I have still been hoping JLY & Christian will come over for the first few months, that is now looking more and more unlikely.

I'm sure these guys will be great, but first impression is not filling me with confidence. I just really want this show to do well over here.

Ruby, the casting was completed 2 weeks ago. You will be dissapointed to hear that its a UK company we've cast. BUT a bloody strong one, as Mr Vallie declared at the press launch.

Its one of the best nights in the theatre i swear. Im not sure why people are so hostile to it on this site. Some were moaning that was replacing "Mary Poppins' yea!!!. so what do they expect? -Cameron to let 'Poppins' run forevr in an empty house.

i know, that was stupid all the poppins fans blasting the show when they had not seen it just because it was replacing Poppins.Its not Jersey Boys Fault that poppins died

It's more than 4 months until Previews begin:
plenty of time for some of the leads to darken their hair -
or get dark wigs!

It might not have been practical for them to do more than slick their hair back for the Press Launch -
eg they might have other roles between now & Feb, requiring their usual hair colour.
