"Law & Order" star tunes in to Marvin Gaye movie
I am very excited about this. I think that Jesse L. Martin is extremely talented and it is exciting to hear that his career is taking off, even more than before.
Aw, yay! He's been talking about wanting to play Marvin Gaye in something for years, I'm glad he's finally getting a chance.
Usher has also said in several interviews that he wants to play Marvin Gaye in a bio-pic. I think Jesse L Martin is a much more interesting choice (especially since this film is focusing on his later career).

Excellent news! I'm not a big biopic fan, but this is perfect casting.
Wow, that is pretty much perfect casting.
This is something I would watch.
What a beautiful man.
I totally support this idea, and can't wait!

Awesome, he gets to play his dream role! I can't wait for this!
I'm terribly excited for this too. I miiiiight've watched if it were Usher (He's not too hard to look at either), but I love Jesse so much that I will totally watch it (and buy it on DVD) since he's gonna be in it. Hooray for dreams coming true!
This is such a great opportunity for him! Look at the train...Ray- Oscars, Ring of Fire- Oscars...JESSE-OSCARS!!! Now he can finally get the attention he deserves! This is fantastic!

What a brave an career smashing risk he is taking by playing gay. Heath and Jake must have had some influence. Oh, wait...

This is very exciting and although I, too, hate biopics, I will definitely go see this one.

I seccond, or third, or fourth the idea that this is Perfect Casting!
I have SUCH a crush on Jesse right now it's not even funny!! He can sing to me any day of the week and twice on Sundays! :)
For once Hollywood got it right. Perfect casting. Though I tend to frown on biopics, this one is at least leaving the station on time.
On a slightly off topic, am I the only one who feels that Benicio Del Toro is a bit "long in the tooth" to portray former Argentine revolutionary Che Guevara? Bennie's a brilliant actor but isn't aging so well. According to an online bio of Che Guevara, he lived till the age of 39 but Bennie looks much older than that these days even with the best dye job & makeup.

I definetly would love to hear him sing "Let's Get it On"
Fantastic choice! I can't wait!
