Jesse Mueller at ETHS benefit performance

I just saw Ms Jesse Mueller at a benefit performance at her alma mater Evanston Township HS. After seeing her in Waitress  and her sister Abby in Beautiful, I have learned to appreciate her more. She sang Beautiful and Home (after all it is her high school) and closing the show she sang "I Feel the Earth Move" and invited all involved in the performance on stage to a high octane energy.  Such a delight watching her along with the high schoolers.

The performance is to benefit the 60th year anniversary of YAMO. The school's yearly show where students performed and where the students take the roles of actors to directing to designing and choreographing. The family Muellers are all part of that tradition.  The brothers along with Jesse did a number "At the Subway" to the tune of "At The Ballet" from Chorus Line.

I will be seeing Ms Mueller again in March in Broadway as she take the role of Julie in CARAOSEL. I only want to share this because I am so proud to have seen her and the joy and contribution she made in theater.

Jessie Mueller needs to find her way back to the Chicago stage ASAP.
