If Jessica Lange were to win the Tony this upcoming Sunday for "Long Day's Journey Into Night", does anyone think that there could be a possible film or television adaptation to preserve her performance? It sounds like this is one of her greatest performances and it would be a shame if everyone were to miss out on it.

Well not everyone who wins a tony automatically has their performance preserved. There is no way to know until they announce anything.
It may have been filmed already for the lincoln center library who knows

It just seems like something that would be recorded for "Great Performances" on PBS...

A four hour play isn't really the kind of thing PBS usually picks up.

I think that HBO could definitely do it justice...either as a single film or in two parts like they did with "Angels in America"...
