jimmy has a higher range, but is somewhat easier to sing, if you want a challenge go for graydon (i use the end of "the speed test" as a vocal workout).

I don't really know the musical, how high does Jimmy need to sing? Plus, what are the challenges that Trevor presents?

well trevor sings a patter number- its a gilbert and sullivan parody/rip off, that gets rediculously fast at the end. the challenge is to actually enunciate that many words in that short of time. as for jimmy's actually notes i couldn't tell you however he does go up pretty friggin' high for his second solo... hopefully someone else can fill in the specifics

I think it depends on your voice range. Trevor is really a baritone, and Jimmy's a tenor. Trevor is definitely more legit and operatic sounding, while Jimmy has a more contemporary sound. Jimmy's highest note is a high A flat (I'm pretty sure).

I would audition for Trevor, personally, because I am a baritone and sing that part, not to mention I like the character better. But it really depends on your voice part and what character you rather play.

...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...

Jimmy! he's so much more relatable to younger people, but if you're older you should go for Trevor. Personally, I find Jimmy to have the more "fun" part to play.

I see Trevor as a Character lead and Jimmy as a male ingenue...there is a big difference, even age-wise, in the characters.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!
