My local drama group will be performing Millie next. Which character should I auditon for, Jimmy or Trevor? And why?
Thanks for your help.

Posted: 6/13/06 at 9:53amwell trevor sings a patter number- its a gilbert and sullivan parody/rip off, that gets rediculously fast at the end. the challenge is to actually enunciate that many words in that short of time. as for jimmy's actually notes i couldn't tell you however he does go up pretty friggin' high for his second solo... hopefully someone else can fill in the specifics

I think it depends on your voice range. Trevor is really a baritone, and Jimmy's a tenor. Trevor is definitely more legit and operatic sounding, while Jimmy has a more contemporary sound. Jimmy's highest note is a high A flat (I'm pretty sure).
