Joan Crawford on Soap Opera

I saw Mommie Dearest recently and they had a scene where 60 years old Joan Crawford took over for her 25 years old daughter Christine (playing a 20something) on The Secret Storm!! Has anyone ever seen that? Or remember that? It must have been bizarre. I have searched everywhere but have not been able to find a clip on You Tube.
