Re: ANNIE - 50th Anniversary Broadway revival (Fall, 2027)
Solea Pfeiffer as Lily and Jasmime Amy Rogers as Grace. Or the other way around - I don’t mind!

Re: Not Since Carrie Sequel
It's interesting that Carrie now wouldn't qualify for a book called Not Since Carrie...
Re: SIX will close on Broadway this winter
For an original musical written by two students, this has had such a fantastic run. I started the original SIX thread years ago suggesting it could open Off-Broadway and was veryyyyy surprised when they announced a Broadway run! However, I do predict the show won't stay closed for that long and will reopen in a smaller, Off-Broadway theatre.
Re: PARANORMAL ACTIVITY Previews
I'm a bit put off with these horror plays after seeing 2:22: A Ghost Story, given that the "horror" was essentially a supernatural drama, and the only "scares" came from blasting an obnoxious scream into the audience every now and then... Is this along a similar vein?
"Trainspotting: The Musical"
This was always a very, very odd story to make into a musical. But I was informed that Irvine Welsh doesn't own the play rights, which is very successful in the UK, so this was his way of reclaiming what he could as a mindless cash grab. That aside, it's baffling this didn't originate in Scotland. They should have staged it in Edinburgh, had it play a season in Glasgow, and built momentum, before taking it to London.
Oh Mary Tour
Could Darren Criss be an option? He always seems keen to throw himself into something super camp.
Re: Anyone seeing Disney's Latest Abortion?
I’ve seen that a live action Princess and the Frog movie is in the works, but it’s a sequel to the original movie instead of a remake. I always thought that’s what Moana should have done, been a live action sequel instead of a remake!

Are there people you'd love to see in a show together?
Patti and Glenn, and I'm deadly serious.

Wicked's Dropping Grosses
I’m a huge fan of the show and would be really interested in seeing it close. Given some of the non-replica productions we’ve seen I’d love to see what regional theatres would do to the show. Famously, it’s in very bad shape in London. So above all I do think it’s worth closing there.

Seems as this point the best thing they can do is just release it for amateurs and watch every theatre group in the world perform it.
