Keri sounds sensational and got a huge response when she took over as Standby. My guess is she is taking over, and maybe Olivia as the new Standby? 

As exciting as this sort of rumour should be - I cringe at the audience behaviour this will attract, the circus her fans will turn this glorious show into, and, above all, the astronomical prices this show will demand. 

I could see a prequel featuring the Wizard’s arrival from the point of view of Princess Ozma and the coup that followed. Or even further back featuring a member of the Royal Family of Oz. I imagine they’ll want to avoid using any of the familiar characters as it’ll be hard to bring them back. 
 

I’m a huge Oz fan so would love to see more projects set in Oz.

Look at what Jinkx did for Little Shop and Chicago, and Bob is, arguably, better known by the general public after appearing on We're Here and The Traitors and writing a NYT Bestseller than Jinkx was. This will absolutely help sales, especially in the terrible winter months."

I'm a gay with a comfortable salary and there are few drag race alumni who could get me in a theatre. Jinx is one of them, and Bob another. Bianca would be the third...and then that's about it. 

Bob is going to generate a respectable income for the production. 

I’m very, very, surprised we haven’t seen a Miss Congeniality musical.   

Slight detour, but I dying for her to play Judy Garland.

In the UK multiple amateur theatre groups have announced The Cher Show as a future production so it’ll be interesting to see how much life it has in community theatre.

New York is getting another Cher jukebox musical. Dark Lady, which showcases songs made famous by the Grammy-winning icon with an original story (written by Mike Sheedy), will give invite-only industry presentations in Manhattan June 20. The project, being executive produced by Ken Davenport's Davenport Theatrical Enterprises, is aiming for an Off-Broadway run.

The presentation cast will include Rashidra Scott(Sunset Blvd.), Alysha Umphress (On the Town), Jasmine Forsberg (Six), Colin Bradbury (BOOP! The Musical), Davis Wayne (The Outsiders), Brandon Burks (Gypsy), DeMarius R. Copes (Elf), Jacob Dickey (Old Friends), Ninako Donville (Pirates! The Penzance Musical), Chavon Hampton, Amanda LaMotte (Once Upon a Mattress), Tatiana Lofton(Pirates! The Penzance Musical), Kristen Piro (Spamalot), Julio Rey (Lempicka), Kirsten Scott(Suffs), and Scarlett Walker (Carousel). Casting is by Geoff Josselson Casting.

Set in the American South at the turn of the century, Sheedy's story follows Queen, "a young gypsy who travels in a wagon train with her fortune-teller mother, her preacher father, and her two best friends—a free-spirited blonde and a fiery, fiddle-playing redhead. After receiving an ominous and foreboding fortune of events to come, Queen is forced to make a devastating decision that alters the course of her future." It seems safe to assume the score will include Cher's 1971 hit "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves."

Cher—who made her Broadway debut as an actor in 1982's Come Back to the 5 & Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean—was the subject of an earlier jukebox musical on the Main Stem, 2018's The Cher Show, which used her music to tell the story of her life and career.
 

The show features orchestrations, arrangements, and music supervision by Sonny Paladino. Evan Bernardin Productions is serving as general managers, with company management by Arysbells Figueredo, sound design by Mike Tracey, stage management by Danny Maly, and assistant stage management by Julia Bregy.

Jon Chu confirmed the wedding is between Fiyero and Glinda but from what he said it sounded like Fiyero might jilt her. 

Three separate Broadway runs but we’re no closer to the UK production? Jesus.
