Hello all -
I am interested in attending a show at Joe's Pub, but having never been to the venue before, I'm wondering if it's the type of venue that is appropriate to attend alone, as my friend who was planning on attending with me will be out of town. I have absolutely no problem attending the theatre alone - in fact, I sometimes prefer it - but since it is my understanding that Joe's Pub is more of a "cabaret" setting with tables/etc., I am wondering if it would be strange or awkward to attend alone. Looking at the seating chart, it appears that there are some seats separate from the tables - is this the case? Any insight would be much appreciated.

I would recommend booking at one of the three levels of counter seating offered.
