John Barrowman New Solo Cd News!!!

JB has finished recording the new solo cd. As of yet I don't have a title, but as you know (if you'ver read the interview I did with him.), its a Cole Porter songbook. The cd will be on First Night Records (the same company that produced the ANYTHING GOES cast recording) and will be out on (drum roll, please...............................................................JUNE 21st, 2004!!!

As a side note I've noticed that orginally the US release date for the Cole Porter biopic, in which JB plays one of his lovers and sings NIGHT AND DAY, was reported at July 4th. I have recently seen that it may have been moved UP to June 26th!! A very nice tie in for our guy's cd no? :)

I LOVE John. I saw him in AG and his performance live is much better than in recording! What songs/tracks is in the new solo CD?

I saw the preview for the movie last week and was impressed with the singing line-up. I hope it turns out to be better than most hollywood biopics.

John will be in ANYTHING GOES until the run ends, August 28th, 2004

Have just gotten word, that John will be signing copies of the new cd JOHN BARROWMAN SWINGS COLE PORTER at London's theatre shop DRESS CIRCLE on Saturday June 26th. As soon as I get more details I will post here and on our website, www.BarrowmanOnline.com
