John Doyle's Sunday in the Park With George?

The Riedel thread got me to thinking, with the complaints of the orchestrations in the new revival of Sunday, things could have been worse...

It's a cello, not a bass. I just want a fine instrument to receive due credit. re: John Doyle's Sunday in the Park With George?

That's hysterical!

But regarding Riedel's comments, I didn't find the SUNDAY orchestra to be too sparse at all. In fact, I was so engrossed by the performances and the lyrics that I didn't notice.

And yet, I think I'd rather see Doyle's production than the thing that is currently infecting Studio 54.

Exactly, Munk. I just read the Riedel Best Revival thread and was thinking the same thing. I was mesmerized and couldn't find any faults with the production.
