The Riedel thread got me to thinking, with the complaints of the orchestrations in the new revival of Sunday, things could have been worse...
That is hilarious, Sue!

I'm looking forward to Doyle's Acappella A Little Night Music.

If Dot was to play the tuba, there is only one person to play the role... PATTI LuPONE!
hilarious! That made me LOL!
I did try to find a tuba for Dot, but the bass fit into the proportions better.
It's a cello, not a bass. I just want a fine instrument to receive due credit.
You are right, of course.
That's hysterical!
But regarding Riedel's comments, I didn't find the SUNDAY orchestra to be too sparse at all. In fact, I was so engrossed by the performances and the lyrics that I didn't notice.

And yet, I think I'd rather see Doyle's production than the thing that is currently infecting Studio 54.

Exactly, Munk. I just read the Riedel Best Revival thread and was thinking the same thing. I was mesmerized and couldn't find any faults with the production.

Perhaps we should go in the other direction and assing Dot the Triangle? "We do not belong together (DING!)...."
I like it.
Very, very genuinely funny.
