"I really need some support right now. Having a drug abuser in your life is very difficult. It puts a strain on everyone involved and is very hard for the sober ones as well as the addicts. Recectly I became aware that someone in my life is addicted to heroin....

Okay, so am I the only one who finds this marketing ploy distasteful? If an actual person had been afflicted with such a dependancy and a friend was genuinely concerned for his health would this linking be considered exploitative?

There are some things that aren't funny, and this is one of them. It's not even close to clever, and is beneath John's usual work.

It would be nice to have a journal like Julianas. We are interested in his work on Boy from Oz, not his comedy skills.

Although I thought this one paled in comparison to his other writings, I do enjoy his comic sensibility.

One of the reasons I don't enjoy Juliana's journal is because it is very much a traditional journal. I found my own journals painful to read, and I think I'm fabulous!

i think john is a great writer and i am very impressed that everyday he can come up with such funny things. i have yet to dislike one of his enteries.
