um the law is something to the affect of those buildings which are financially fit and can do so without considerable damage done to their ability to do business must provide for accomodations.
which means
if they would have to take out 3 of 12 tables to build a ramp
or
lose 8 square feet to put in an elevator
and
close entirely for three months to do it
then they dont have to do anything at all.

Before my cabaret performace @ the Duplex today, John was there checking out the space.
He was delish
It was odd because I had just been reading the article on the show in HX/Next

Tonite, I took a journey into the mind of John Hill.
I will be scarred for the rest of my life.
Seriously, it was a wicked, raunchy, foul, nasty show.
And I was howling the entire time.
And, the delicious thing about the show (aside from John himself) is the way he was able to be rather surprisingly poignant. There were many moments that left quite an impression on the mind despite the debaucherous tone.
I highly recommend this show, full of theatre and Hollywood references that at times stop the show with their delectable devilishness. John's a fascinating guy and possesses the rare ability to be absolutely stunning to look at while completely daring, self-deprecating and hilarious.
I would get on the phone and reserve tickets as he is bound to sell out--the room was full tonite and it was the first show.
