I agree that the Dems need to move to the left. But Hillary is not the far left and does a lot of pandering to the middle of the road to keep support.

Here's the thing with Hillary:

No man with any experience is going to work under her. It would be an insult to the male ego. The U.S. is not ready for a woman/woman ticket. So Hillary would have to choose a man that doesn't have much experience.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

True. When the senate approves something like the Iraq debacle 99-1, it makes you wonder whos on our side. I'm still hoping Howard Dean tries again (fingers crossed).

Dean's great in his energy and his ideas, but he has an attendancy to have his energy used against him in the press. (that being said I'm a huge Dean supporter)

It's not his energy that's used against him. It's the stupid things that he says. If he would shut up and stay on topic instead of flinging mud, people might take him more seriously.

Well Bush isn't exactly a brilliant speaker (dryly)...

Yet despite saying many stupid things and having many image problems he has managed to take the media and the publics image of him and transform it from hick doofus to trustworthy everyman.

Keep in mind when I say 'he' I really mean Karl Rove and his neo-con puppeteers (sp?).

I'm not sure that Bush is considered trustworthy. All the recent polls show his approval rating at an alltime low of just about 40%. That means that about 60% of the country does not trust him. Hence he is having problems getting any of his bills, people, or anything else approved.
