Corine, if you really wished Ms. D'Abruzzo well you'd want her to leave the show eventually. It's rarely good for an actor to stay in the same role for too long- it's boring and it stifles creativity. If the Avenue Q cast members want to move on to other things, good for them. They've been with the show for a good long while now.

I want the best for Stephanie. She is very talented.
I want her to get whatever she wants. She deserves it.
She can sing, act and is very pretty. I just love her in Q.
But she deserves everything.

I'm sad that John is leaving, but I'm so happy for Barrett. He's such a talented guy, and I've been wanting so bad to see him as Princeton/Rod. I think I'll finally get the chance now!

It will be absolutely wonderful to see B-Fo finally get a stab at a leading role on broadway..

Once again, I must say that I am so pleased to know that Barrett will probably get the role. (I actually liked him better than John, but here is probably not the best place to get into that. )

Can we all remember for a moment that nothing has been announced about Barrett taking over. And there was also a stand-by for John that was great, he (can't remember his name) could also be getting bumped up.
Let's keep it under control people before everyone gets all disappointed if Barrett doesn't get it.

There's no other standy for Johnny than Barrett. Technically Peter Linz is another stand by...but he's primarily Rick Lyon's standby. Barrett has more experience in Johnny's role.

nota chance in hell that peter linz would get the role.. barrett has a MUCH better chance.. and judging by what j-tart said, barrett seems likely to take over..

I saw Peter over the summer and he was very good. I didn't say that he would get it, I'm just sayin that lets not all get in a tizzy before it's definite. That's all.

I agree with Switz,I have seen Peter in the role and also thought he did a great job. Barrett will most likely get the bump up over Peter, but they're both good. Barrett has more training as a Broadway actor though..
I'm excited for Barrett, because he's amazing, i've seen him perform as Princeton/Rod, and I enjoyed it, and I was at his Ars Nova, which was incredible.. The guy has so much charisma and talent.... Johnny would be leaving the show in good hands.
But John, we love you! It'll be sad to see him go, but i'm excited to see what he does next! His Joe's Pub shows ton the 3rd and 24th of January are going to be fantastic, i'm sure, and I can't wait to go to them... But do we know anything about what he's planning besides them? Is Zanna sounding like it's going to happen? (John would be FABULOUS in that role BTW..!)

While I'm incredibly excited for whatever John does after this, and will be very happy if it's announced that Barrett's taking over (he seems like a complete sweetie, and I've heard nothing but great things about his Princeton/Rod), I'm *very* happy I got my tickets to see the show *FINALLY* for Jan. 14th.
