Ok I would love to see this one. Anyone seen him in it yet?

Ev'ry so often we long to steal to the land of what might have been but that dos'nt soften the ache we feel when reality sets back in.

If you love JTart, it's super fun to see him in the role. He does a great job, but his French accent is possibly the worst I've ever heard. Nonetheless, he is adorable.

Is John staying in the show until it closes?

My daughter is obsessed with all things Tartaglia and we're going to be in NYC April 10 & 11. She would probably keel over if she actually met him.

I'm about to keel over from the fact that my 16-year-old son says "Beauty" is his favorite among the four shows he's seen. Maybe the first show you see (he's saw it at age 11) does make an impression. He and I agree on one thing, though--we both thought that after an amazing opening number, "The Lion King" was sheer torture.

I don't know if he's staying until the closing, but I can tell you that he is great with fans at the stage door, especially kids. And bring your camera! He'll take pictures with them too.

He is absolutely charming in the role, and pretty much the best part of the show IMHO. The show as a whole seems desperately tired, but his flames-for-hands kept me awake.

I think Johnny T likes fire.
alot.

How does it seem tired? The actors phoning in, for example? Bad orchestra work? Low audience energy?

The actors phoning it in must have a helluva bad connection.

On the plus side, I am looking forward to J-Tart, Stephen Buntrock, and Connor Gallagher!

Why a bad connection? (Sorry, I'm SO bad at getting jokes!)

I saw him! He had great stage presence. The only problem I had was that he needs to work a bit on his French accent.

i really want to see him myself. i am sure he's great. my friend actually calls him "Poptart" because she can't pronounce his name. I think its pretty funny.

Yeah I heard he has a bad accent. But hey just the fact he's there is awesome :)
