"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

Posted: 2/28/07 at 1:36amIf you love JTart, it's super fun to see him in the role. He does a great job, but his French accent is possibly the worst I've ever heard. Nonetheless, he is adorable.

Is John staying in the show until it closes?
My daughter is obsessed with all things Tartaglia and we're going to be in NYC April 10 & 11. She would probably keel over if she actually met him.
I'm about to keel over from the fact that my 16-year-old son says "Beauty" is his favorite among the four shows he's seen. Maybe the first show you see (he's saw it at age 11) does make an impression. He and I agree on one thing, though--we both thought that after an amazing opening number, "The Lion King" was sheer torture.

He is absolutely charming in the role, and pretty much the best part of the show IMHO. The show as a whole seems desperately tired, but his flames-for-hands kept me awake.
I think Johnny T likes fire.
alot.

The actors phoning it in must have a helluva bad connection.
On the plus side, I am looking forward to J-Tart, Stephen Buntrock, and Connor Gallagher!

Posted: 2/28/07 at 6:16pmI saw him! He had great stage presence. The only problem I had was that he needs to work a bit on his French accent.

i really want to see him myself. i am sure he's great. my friend actually calls him "Poptart" because she can't pronounce his name. I think its pretty funny.
Yeah I heard he has a bad accent. But hey just the fact he's there is awesome :)
