Go see "The Devil and Dexter Webster" at the York theater starring John Tartaglia!!! It's a TERRIFIC show! Alex Wexler wrote it and he's a genius! Do NOT miss this show!

If this is the same show as the great 1940's movie with Walter Huston playing the devil...why did someone change the name to Dexter?????

The movie was about a farmer who was tired of waiting for success with his crops coming in, so while in the barn, he says he'd sell his soul to the Devil if he could have success.

It was called the Devil and Daniel Webster originally!

If this show is not the same show, please disregard my post.

I believe this show is a spoof of the famous short story "The Devil and Daniel Webster" so the title is intentional
