I know the musical ASSASSINS isn't really set in any specific place or time and technically in the last scene with Oswald all the assassins are "spirits", but I just came to the realization that during my favorite line, when Booth says that Willy Loman is a part he could never play...he meant it literally!! He never could have played Willy Loman. John Wilkes Booth died in 1865 and "Death of a Salesman" was only first produced in 1949...
Anyway, I'm just thinking about ASSASSINS. Very good show...
