Johnny T's Performance Schedual?
#0Johnny T's Performance Schedual?
Posted: 11/17/05 at 11:48amI'm going to be in Vegas January 8-11 and I was wondering how to find out what performances Johnny is going to be on. The Wynn site doesn't have any info regarding casts. Anyone know anything more? Thanks!

Uhhhh- When breakingthecircle returns, I don't think he/she will take this 'breaking news' too well.
Who's ready for a breakdown?

Has anyone seen the Vegas production? How is it overall?

I have seen the Vegas production twice now and it is amazing! Johnny and Rick are fabulous as is the rest of the cast. There are some changes from the Broadway production and all of the reviewers have said that they are better. I haven't seen it on Broadway so I wouldn't be able to compare but one of my friends said that the Vegas version is better. Like in "Purpose" when Princeton picks up the penny the song turns into this beautiful ballad until, "got to make sure that my life will be great". It is so great.
The theatre is beautiful though it does resemble a movie theatre outside at the concession/alcohol stand and there are cup holders. I still think it is gorgeous and it fits perfectly for the show since it was made for that reason. I just hope that Steve Wynn keeps Spamalot the full length when the Holy Grail Theatre opens.
Oh and yes Johnny leaves in December but if you call the Wynn box office they can tell you his & Rick's performances. They are the blue bear cast. Yet don't be dissapointed if you get the yellow bear cast because I have been told that they are awesome. Have fun when you go.

Posted: 11/21/05 at 1:08amI've seen both casts and they are both wonderful. Though I did prefer the Blue Bear cast, but I think it's because Johnny T is so freaking hot!

Posted: 11/21/05 at 8:00amI was under the impression that John and Rick are both leaving in early December. I really hope that there is some official announcement soon about their departure dates and who is replacing them.

Posted: 11/21/05 at 11:59amI thought they were trimming Spamalot for Vegas. Anyway, isn't Tartaglia joining a show in New York soon?

Hi, Meredith! Yeah, I still lurk over there some, but so many of the "old timers" are gone, and it doesn't seem to get the traffic it used to.
I'm glad to see you over here, though!

That's true. It's too bad that it died out like that.
I love your Rick pic btw! Too cute! (I'm finally seeing Q in NY this winter! I can't wait to see Jen!)
