Joining TDF
Joining TDF#1
Posted: 12/21/09 at 6:07pmI am thinking about joining TDF. Does it provide discount tickets only for shows on Broadway or for national tours too?

TDF has all kinds of deals
Broadway shows, Off Broadway, and other events in and around NYC
I don't think they have national tours at least not that I've seen.
It's a GREAT deal
$27.50 membership for the year
I've used it 6 times so far and it's really worth it.
I've seen a bunch of shows that I wouldn't of paid full price for

Posted: 12/21/09 at 6:18pmI'm live more than 100 miles away from NYC, so I can get a special deal of $12 membership for a year. Should I join?

Posted: 12/21/09 at 6:22pmHow long does it take for membership to process and how far in advance are tickets available?

Posted: 12/21/09 at 6:38pmI didn't know that if you live more than 100 miles away its only $12....I've always paid the full price and I'm nearly double that!

Posted: 12/21/09 at 6:57pmI am on the national membership. I love tdf...well worth it. They have 3 calanders (right now is Dec. Jan. and Feb.) so it is 3 months at a time in which you can look for tickets. If I am not mistaken, as soon as you sign up/pay, you can buy tickets.

Posted: 12/22/09 at 12:42pmWhen my boyfriend signed up, he had his college ID, but it doesn't have a date on it, so they also accepted his most recent tuition statement, which they accepted. They are very nice, so if you call them, they'll help you figure out exactly what you have to send as proof.
