Can we not just put this in the WICKED main thread?

I don't know why a message board that sees so little actual traffic is this anal about there being too many threads. People who may want to see this may also not be regularly perusing a non-Specific Wicked thread with dozens of pages with at least a third of it being Queens screeching at each other.

Well first off, there is a search feature. I use it all the time to find a thread on a show or subject I want to read about. Also, you don't have to read all of the "screaming back and forth". I don't always.
There are a few WICKED threads and there is one on the front page right now. Posting these just clog the board. With less of them, it is easier to find what you want and read or comment on something that interests you. Just post in a thread that relates to what you are posting. It will jump to the top of the first page and people who are interested in that show or subject can open it and just go to the last page to see the latest comments. That's what I, and most people I am sure, do. JMO

A search feature that operates incredibly poorly that functions much better when you're searching for thread titles as opposed to posts within threads which is helped by not corraling everything about a particular show into a generic show thread. A message board being active and not just cross posting across 10 general threads is not a bad thing. That's activity. That's what this place used to be. That's why you can find older threads easier, because they're more specific.

I agree.
Also, re: the SEARCH feature, I always have greater success using DuckDuckGo search engine (my search engine of choice) over BBW's engine. My estimated success rate: DDG = 90-100%, BBW = 0-10%
When I use DDG, I consistently use: "broadwayworld" and "chat" (both without the quotation marks) as the first two keywords for my search. In my experience, that's been a much more successful and frustration-saving practice over trying to use BBW's engine.
I don't know if if anyone would get the same success when using bing, chrome, google, or any other search engine, but I do recommend at least experimenting with the more evolved engines' algorithms over BBW's.
