I saw BOM last night (10.27) and Josh Gad began the second act and then there was an announcement that there would be a replacement for him. The replacement was quite good and after the curtain call Andrew Rannells talked to the audience. He said Josh had injured himself shortly after the start of the second act. Nothing obvious happened, so I was just wondering if anyone new more about the situation.
I was there as well. The man at the sound board told some people ahead of me that he twisted his back. I cannot verify that. I am going again on Sunday so I guess I will see if he's back.
Having seen the show twice, the first time with Gad and then Gertner on Oct.22 (matinee),I must agree with Just_John. Jared is a talent. Great performance.
anyone know if Gad was back in the show tonight? just curious.
