I have to say, I partially agree with Carl. Having a great voice does not nessecarily mean you are a great actor. You all should know because Gerard Butler is so awful as the Phantom, not because he can't sing the role, but because he can't ACT it. People who do not have theatre experience should not be used just because of their vocal popularity. Take Toni Braxton for example. Or better yet, P. Diddy. Grant it, Raisin in the Sun was the BEST show I have ever seen on Broadway, but the only complaint I had was that P.Diddy is not an actor, and IMO will never be. Thank God for Rashhad, McDonald and Hansburry who all made up for his poor acting skills, which is what made it the best show I have ever seen. Josh Groban is not an actor, just as Celine Dion is not an actress.
