If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
I was fortunate to see her in her only Broadway performance in my lifetime, "Amy's View" a few years back. Brilliant.

I also saw her in Amy's View and was amazed. I flew to London to see her in "The Royal Family". She was great but the production was misconceived.

I saw her in The Breath of Life, which was an average play (too large a venue, somewhere small it could've been better, but the plot was misguided too) and afterwards, though I don't ever go to stage doors, I just felt I had to see her up close, so I did. She posed for a photo and chatted briefly, there was only about 12 of us there, and I had my picture taken with Maggie Smith too, they were both really nice.
So if anyone *does* come to see this I advise you to do the stage door because hardly anyone went.

Amy's View was simply incredible. The Breath of Life was brilliant, as well. Judi Dench and Maggie Smith on stage together-my dream come true. There was talk of it coming to Broadway, but that fell through because Dame Judi was unhappy in the play; it apparently reminded her too much of her late husband.
I would love, love , love for her to bring HAY FEVER back to Broadway. I wish that I saw it in '85/'86 with Rosemary Harris. The dame would be brilliant in that role!

I saw Dame Judi in "All's Well That Ends Well" a year ago last Easter, and she was marvelous. I hadn't intended to go to the stage door, but I found myself there after the show regardless. There weren't too many people there that time either. Although she looked a bit tired when she came out, she was nonetheless very gracious.
She's one of the greatest living actresses. I saw her in "All's Well That Ends Well" in London and I will never forget it. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
On hey! mr producer she steals the show for me. The emotion she puts into send in the clowns is amazing... truely moving! I'd pay money to hear her read the phone book because you know it would be one of the greatest performances you'd ever see!
