What is your favorite jukebox musical? Mine are Movin Out and Mamma Mia.

I am a fairly new member and I always see people saying IMO. Can someone tell me what that means? Thanks

IMO= in my opinion.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Movin' Out, if it counts as one. Of the traditional ones.... oh, hell, I'd say Lennon because the music was too good and the cast too talented to stop me from having a good time, even if the show itself was a wreck, but it's not truly a jukebox musical either, IMO. I guess if I had to choose between the ones that really fit the bill, All Shook Up?

Lennon- although I personally wouldn't have called it a jukebox musical.

I saw We Will Rock You with the OLC in London, and I thought it was great.

The book is extremely corny and cheesy, but I have to admit, it was an extremely fun show to go to. It was funny and exciting, and I loved it.

It's really not a conversation. It's more like people posting their favorites. (I'm feeling mean tonight)

The Buddy Holly Story. I think I liked it better than Jersey Boys. And by the way, I really wouldn't call JB the first "halfway decent jukebox musical" at all.

Arghh! Grammar pet peeve #1: your vs you're. "Your" is a possessive pronoun. "You're" is the contraction of "you are." <<

I'm not a big fan of Jukebox Musicals, but...

Currently on B'way: Jersey Boys
Of all time: Anything Goes (Does that count?)
