Posted: 6/6/06 at 8:05pmGreat recording I just came across on iTunes, which features some great songs by Kelli O'Hara, Victoria Clark, Sutton Foster, Rebecca Luker, Leslie Uggams, Audra McDonald, and many more. I totally suggest checking this out. I personally like Audra McDonald's rendition of "10,432 Sheep". Any opinions on this?

Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, but "Winter Was Warm" from Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol is a beauty of a song.
I hope Ms. Clark does it justice! I love her, but...
I always picture a "Rosemary Clooney"-type singing this song.

My review from the upcoming releases page:
PS Classics has put together a nice album of little known gems with some of the top talent in NYC right now. Highlights include Kelli O'hara "doris-daying" her way through "Blame My Absent Minded Heart"; Audra McDonald's stunning "10,432 Sheep"; Victoria Clark's touching "Winter Was Warm"; Sutton Foster's full throttle "There's Nothing Rougher than Love" (which will now surely become a new audition song for many a young belting girl). Mazzie & Danieley combine for an extended Academy Awards medley and they do not disappoint - lush gorgeous singing from them both. Klea Blackhurst is channelling Ethel Merman ina terrific "That Ain't Hay" (which actually sounds very Irving Berlin). Leslie Uggams (who actually worked with Styne) makes a lovely appearance with "I don't want to walk without you." Age is creeping into her voice, but her style and personality shine through winningly.
Some tracks aren't as successful as others, but it balances out into a nice disc featuring some of todays top talent. Please sir, I'd like some more!
