Did she already do it?

She's probably on for the "Everyone Has A Story" song thing that Kathie Lee is doing to promote herself as a songwriter. Norm Lewis did the first one.

yes it's for that write in story contest. They mentioned she blew broadway away or something along those lines when she was Elphaba. I do not think she has sung yet. You should be able to find clips on the today show website later I would assume.

Caught this just before I had to run out to class. It was really fun to see, and the song was beautiful.

I thought Julia did a great job, and that lady had a nice story!

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to give a heads up saying that Christine Ebersole will be singing the song on Thursday for this week in case anyone is interested.

Am I alone in thinking that - while Julia was great as usual - having her sing that song was wildly inappropriate? I couldn't stand to watch it.

Yea, Julia was great and the woman had a great story but the shmalzy song was a cheesy way to showcase Kathy's song-writing and allow her to pat herself on the back.

I also don't understand why the song was so adamant about being alone, the woman has a husband.
