Julie Benko Joins Steven Brinberg For A Night of Barbra and Judy?

Julie Benko announced on her Instagram that she's joining acclaimed Barbra impressionist Steven Brinberg for a couple of songs this coming Monday, July 18th at 7:00 p.m. at Chelsea Table And Stage. https://www.chelseatableandstage.com/ There is a little video clip of them rehearsing for the show. How wonderful!

No clip - just "Babs." That said, nice for Julie to get some outside gigs. Just wonder if this passed muster with the producers with all the other business going on.

Seriously? Is that unkind or what? Why shouldn't a talented singer and actress continue to promote her career? She is doing this on her night off, and she would be the "Judy" part of the equation I would imagine. But to ask her to zip it? She is just doing what a normal peformer would do. Self-promote. And not at the expense of others. No need to ask her to "zip" it. She is not a villain here. Not in any way. Is she expected to lie low until this is all over. She has a cd signing concert coming up at the end of next month. Should she "zip it" for that one too?
