I thought that you guys would like to know that Julie will be going on as Elphaba on Oct 14th @ 7pm and October 15th @ 2&8 pm. So go see her if you can kiddos.

Of course, based on Kerry's attendance she'll probably be on as Elphie many times before these three dates.

Kerry was on all this week so far. She's singing in Broadway on Broadway tomorrow and I'm going to see the show tomorrow. I'm planning on seeing the Oct 15th matinee since I have no vacation time from work and have to be back by 10:30pm to go to work...LOL

These are planned dates so that's why I decided to post it

I hope I get to see Kerry or Julie. I've seen the show 3x and always had an Elphaba understudy. Unfortunately I saw Chelsea last week and could not be more disappointed.

Does anyone know when Aaron is leaving?

Sorry you were disappointed with Chelsea. I have seen her once and I thought that she was great. She doesn't get to go on much but has been on more than most understudies are.

I'm really big on understudies, I know practically nothing about Kerry and I'm not a huge fan of the show but honestly I (and a few of my friends) were severely underwhelmed. She was very cute but she lacked power and while she seemed to have a pretty voice (which is just not right for Elphaba), she did not belt at all which made for a really lackluster performance. I felt bad for the people who will only see the show once or paid full price. I wanted to ask for my money back but I stuck it out because of Aaron and PJ Benjamin, who were both great. I thought Kendra wasn't very strong either but she was nowhere near the level of mediocrity that Chelsea was.
