This might not be the final one though. There still is 5 more to go after tonight and by the looks of the update it was last minute that Nicole called out.

Schmerg, yup that is my baby girl.
TimeSquare3, Why do you care if I'm there or not? Oh wait I know why. I'm sure your boy adamgreer hightailed his butt there when he got the update. Plus I'm fine, blood pressure is fine, no seizures...LOL.

Times Square. I've visited these boards for a while now. I really have had quite enough of your immature attitude. I don't know who you are and I don't really care. I don't know who defy 777 is either, but you really need to take your comments offline. People come to these boards for helpful information and to share how the performances they see impacted them. They do NOT come here to read your rants and tirades against someone else, nor do they come here to hear you accuse someone of being a stalker. In today's society that is not only not funny, but just dangerous. We all respect the actors onstage today and I ask you to respect these forums and the people who come here to talk about the shows and the actors. Not some immature jealousy.
I can tell you two things for sure. From what I have seen, the defy777 person has given honest and accurate information on several shows and I for one, appreciate that information. For the second, each show now has guards at their stage doors to protect their actors from stalkers. So, please do us all a favor and stop venting your spleen with your jealousy of defy 777 and take a hike.

Posted: 2/11/09 at 7:20pmTimes Square 3 - my name is not Val. If you bothered to check dude, I'm not a girl. And I am reporting you to the moderators for immaturity. You give a good board a bad name. Grow up dude - really.

Posted: 2/11/09 at 7:32pmPiraguaGuy2 my appologies and to Defy 777 as well. If you would like to discuss the merits of Julie or the cast of Wicked at the Gershwin, I would love to participate. I simply cannot abide immaturity and offensive behavior on public boards.

I'll bring this thread back ON topic....I did indeed "hightail my butt over there" as Val said.
The show was fantastic, but Julie always is, so this was no huge surprise. The entire cast was aware it was her last show, and there was lots of extra energy tonight. Alli especially seemed to want to make it a special show. The Wizard and I was wonderful, Defying Gravity was out of this world (the best I've ever heard her sing it). She and Aaron have always had incredible chemistry, and As Long as You're Mine was STEAMY as ever. She did her signature "see how bright we shine" riff. No Good Deed, always her best number, was dare I say it, FIERCE. She had two fantastic riffs- on the second Fiyero and at the end, that were different from how she normally does them.
She got choked up a couple of time during the show- I'm Not That Girl, during the end of Defying Gravity, and of course, at the end.
She and Alli completely lost it during For Good, to the point where Alli could barely get through the next scene, and was completely choked up during the monologue in the bubble. At the end of For Good, Alli tapped her hat, which sounds silly but was really cute.
It was a GREAT show for her to go out on (and she was pretty confident afterwards that this was it) and she seemed very happy and content and ready to move on.

I agree with Mean Green Thing that both Julie and Katie leave very big shoes to fill in their leaving on Sunday. I hope that Jen D and Laura W. can succeed in doing just that!

Thanks for that great review, adamgreer. Sounds like it was an amazing show.
I regret not getting a chance to see her as Elphaba, but I hope to see her in other projects in the future. Any news on what she's doing next?

Most immediately, she's going to be part of the cast of Caroline, or Change at the Guthrie Theater in Minnesota.
Imagine that and you say I'm the obsessed one...LOL. Sorry but you had that coming to you.
Val, you know damn well if you lived in or around NY, you would have been there, too. Which would have been fine, because my referring to you as obsessed has nothing to do with how many times you have seen Julie in the show. There is absolutely nothing wrong with seeing a performer you like multiple times. My referring to you as obsessed is based on the litany of bizarre, scary things you have done regarding Julie. To keep this thread from turning negative, I will not list everything out right now. Consider this a "warning shot."

^ I don't think that you should be posting things that Julie hasn't even posted anywhere! Or even said about.
It's already been turned negative by your buddy TimeSquare3 as soon as I posted.
